Terms of use
Last updated: 13 October 2026 · Türkçe
By using the Shimba app, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the app.
What the app does
The app helps you track your quitting process: it calculates the time that has passed, the money saved and the cigarettes not smoked; shows your health progress on a timeline; lets you keep a journal and craving log; and offers reminders and motivational content. The app also works without internet.
Not medical advice
No information in the app replaces medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. Health indicators are general and at the population level; their sources are listed on the "Medical basis" page. If you are considering medication, a nicotine replacement product or another treatment while quitting, consult a doctor or pharmacist. In a medical emergency, contact a healthcare provider, not the app.
Terms of use
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide; the calculations are based on it.
- You may use the app only for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- You may not misuse the app, reverse engineer it, try to bypass its security or interfere with others' use of it.
- If you are a minor, you should use the app with the knowledge of a parent or guardian.
Account
You can create an account so that your data can be moved between devices. You are responsible for the security of your account and sign-in details. You can delete your account and your data at any time from within the app (Settings > Account details).
Premium subscription
- Premium is offered as a monthly and a yearly subscription. The current price is shown in your currency in the app and in the store before you buy.
- Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; the renewal fee is charged to your account within the 24 hours before the period ends.
- You can manage and cancel your subscription in your store account settings (App Store or Google Play > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period.
- Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription.
- Refund requests are subject to the rules of the relevant store.
- You can get back the Premium you purchased on another device with the same store account using "Restore purchases".

Changes and contact
These terms may be updated over time; when there is an important change, you will be notified within the app. You can send your questions to destek@shimba.app.
